The Organizing Committee of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 (COSSAN2023) announced that the accreditation process for national and international media interested in the press coverage of the regional event, to be held from June 23rd to July 8th, has begun.

The accreditation will be that the Organizing Committee of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 (COSSAN2023) will use to identify people and their role, as well as to grant access for the fulfillment of its mission.

The media accreditation process will be open from now and until April 30, 2023:

1. On the Games website www.sansalvador2023.com, under the PRESS tab, a link is available that will allow members of the media, both national and international, to apply for the credential. The form must be filled out, attaching the required information, and sent again through the system.
2. The accreditation committee of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 will verify the documentation submitted and then authorize the accreditation.
3. Accreditations for National Olympic Committees’ press officers (AO) must be arranged through the NOCs’ Attention to the NOCs. COSSAN2023 opens the possibility for NOCs to accredit a complete press team (up to four people) always complying with the permitted quota, but always maintaining the proportionality of officials.

TYPES OF ACCREDITATIONS:

CATEGORY E – JOURNALIST
FUNCTIONS: Journalist, editor, digital journalist, freelance journalist or freelancer under contract.

CATEGORY EP – PHOTOGRAPHER
FUNCTIONS: Photographer, photo technician, photo editor.

ENR CATEGORY – MEDIA WITHOUT RIGHTS
Member of a radio or television organization without broadcasting and rebroadcasting rights.

San Salvador 2023 will facilitate the accreditation process for all members of the media, including news agencies, press organizations from countries outside the Americas and other international press organizations.
