Huellas Centenarias to Be Presented at Santo Domingo 2026
The book “Huellas Centenarias” by Centro Caribe Sports continues to take shape with contributions from journalists and specialized sports writers from different countries across the region. This was announced by the organization’s Director of Projects and Strategy, Juan Guerra, during the Executive Committee meeting taking place in the Dominican Republic.
Each story, experience, and memory gathered in its pages will reflect the history, passion, and legacy of Central American and Caribbean sport through the voices of those who have witnessed its greatest moments firsthand.
“We have brought together the commitment of distinguished sports journalists from across the region to build a work that preserves the historical memory of our sport,” Guerra highlighted.

The publication will bring together stories told from the perspective of those who narrated the achievements that shaped generations and now bear witness to the road toward the centennial of regional sport.
The official 100-year commemorative book will be presented in the lead-up to the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, as part of the Centro Caribe Sports Centennial Gala.
The XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 will take place from July 24 to August 8, bringing together athletes from across the region in the edition that will commemorate the centennial of the oldest multi-sport event in Central America and the Caribbean.
