Natalia Linares shines with world bronze in the indoor long jump
Colombia’s Natalia Linares delivered a standout performance by claiming the bronze medal in the women’s long jump at the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Championships.
With a best leap of 6.80 meters, Linares secured her place on the podium in a highly competitive final, earning her second consecutive world medal following her bronze at the Tokyo 2025 outdoor championships.

The event was won by Portugal’s Agate de Sousa, who took gold with a mark of 6.92 meters, while Italy’s Larissa Iapichino claimed silver with 6.87 meters.
