The Organizing Committee of the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 has launched the Heads of Mission Seminar, a meeting that brings together representatives of the National Olympic Committees of the region to coordinate the main technical and operational aspects of the upcoming edition of the multi-sport event. The activity is taking place from March 11 to 13 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santo Domingo and is part of the planning process leading up to the regional competition.

During the seminar, the Heads of Mission receive detailed information about the organization of the Games, including accreditation systems, accommodation, transportation, medical services, anti-doping control, security and risk management, with the aim of ensuring the efficient participation of each delegation taking part in the event.

The meeting also includes technical presentations from the various functional areas of the Organizing Committee, as well as visits to some of the main competition venues, allowing country representatives to closely observe the infrastructure and preparations underway for the sporting event.

The XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 will be held from July 24 to August 8, 2026, with an estimated participation of 37 countries and a sports program featuring 40 disciplines, in a special edition commemorating the centennial of the oldest regional multi-sport event in the world.
