Ninety percent of the sports venues are already ready for competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full Board of Directors of the sports organization of Central America and the Caribbean held its second working day at the Central American and Caribbean Village, with the presence of special guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe world has changed, institutions adapt to change and take on new challenges. Let us maintain the spirit of one team alongside the Organizing Committee. My words are meant to motivate us to be better,\u201d emphasized Luis Mej\u00eda Oviedo, president of Centro Caribe Sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president of the Olympic Committee of Panama, Damaris Young, shared the transfer of experience from the successful Panama 2026 Junior Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Jos\u00e9 Monegro thanked the members of Centro Caribe Sports for their collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe feel comfortable and we have demonstrated that we are one team,\u201d he stated, highlighting that all sports equipment and venue preparations are progressing according to schedule. He also reported that 90% of the facilities are already operational for competition and that by July 3 they will be fully completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the updates presented, he explained that the BMX competitions will take place in Santiago de los Caballeros and the venue will be ready by June 20. Likewise, baseball will feature two stadiums: Estadio Quisqueya and a second world-class field located within the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Centennial Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Centennial Agenda will feature a special celebration program aimed at uniting the sports world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the featured activities is the Centennial Gala, which will bring together different generations of sports leaders, coaches, and athletes from the Caribbean and Central America. The commemorative Huellas project was also presented, in which a group of experienced sports journalists is working on the official book that will cover the 100-year history of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
