SANTO DOMINGO.- Centro Caribe Sports will present the medals of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 to the athletes Naryury Pérez, Crismery Santana and Yaniuska Espinosa, during the Ordinary Assembly of the sports organization, scheduled for October 23 of this year, in Santiago de Chile.

The weightlifting competitors in the division plus 87 kg, will win the gold, silver and bronze medals in the Clean & Jerk modality, respectively, granting a change and increase of medals to the athletes and the countries involved.

These movements of medals do not represent a change to the general medal list of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

Naryury Perez and Yaniuska Espinosa, will add a gold and a bronze to Venezuela, where Perez will change the color of her medal, from silver to gold. Espinosa moves up to podium position from fourth place.

Crismery Santana of the Dominican Republic will add a silver instead of a bronze medal to her delegation.

These changes result from the doping violation case of Mariafelix Sarria of Cuba.
