CURACAO CHAMPION CARIBBEAN CUP BASEBALL 2024
Curaçao’s ninth team won the 6th Caribbean Cup, held in Nassau, Bahamas, and which ended on October 28, by beating the US Virgin Islands two runs to one (2-1) in the gold medal game of the event.
Everything was decided in the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied at one run, when Ericson Leonora hit a run-scoring single to give the victory to the Curaçaoans.
Meanwhile, Cuba took third place in the tournament by beating Saint Marteen two runs to one (2-1).
The tournament was held at the Andre Rodgers Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas, with three daily games starting on October 23, beginning at 11:00 in the morning, with the second game scheduled for 3:00 in the afternoon and the closing game at 7:00 at night.
