WOMEN’S CENTROBASKET 20204 KICKS OFF THIS TUESDAY
The Centrobasket 2024 Women’s Senior Championship will begin this Tuesday, November 5, at the Inforum de Irapuato, Mexico, with the participation of eight teams, member countries of Centro Caribe Sports.
This tournament is composed of two groups of four teams, where the “A” is formed by El Salvador, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica, while the “B” is made up of the quintet of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Mexico.
During the group phase, each team will be facing its group rivals. The top two teams in each bracket will qualify to the semifinals, while the third and fourth place teams will continue to play to complete the 5th through 8th overall.
The top four places will award tickets to the FIBA AmeriCup Women’s 2025.
