AIPS magazine highlights the “Huellas” project of Centro Caribe Sports

AIPS magazine, a world reference in the field of sports journalism, has published an article about the flagship project “Huellas” of Centro Caribe Sports (CCS), which has been promoted as part of the celebration of the organization’s centenary. This initiative, which seeks to accompany athletes before, during and after the Olympic Games, has a comprehensive focus on the development and dissemination of the stories, inspiration and purpose of athletes in the region.

The “Huellas” project took shape during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where it stood out not only for the positive impact on the preparation of the athletes, but also for the notable achievements of the region, which won 7 gold medals, 12 silver and 39 bronze. Additionally, 17 of the 31 CCS delegations obtained at least one Olympic diploma, an important milestone for countries such as Aruba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

In his speech, Don Luis Mejía Oviedo, president of the CCS, stressed the importance of collaboration with the AIPS, with which a strategic alliance has been established that seeks to strengthen sports journalism and offer training programs for young reporters in the Central American region. and Caribbean.

This agreement will not only contribute to improving the coverage of multi-sports events, but will also facilitate the development of new joint projects between both institutions, promoting the growth of sports journalism in the region.
