CCS Editorial Fund at the Service of the National Olympic Committees
Panama City, February 28, 2025 – The CCS Editorial Fund launched a digital reading room aimed at preserving and disseminating the historical memory of sport in Central America and the Caribbean. This space, accessible online, offers eight publications available in Spanish, English and French, which highlight memories, achievements and investigative works on sports in the region, thus promoting reading and sports knowledge.
According to Luis Mejía Oviedo, representative of the organization, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games marked a milestone for the CCS Editorial Fund. The support of athletes from Central America and the Caribbean, before, during and after the competition, generated a significant impact, exceeding expectations in visits and downloads from the official website.
For the second quarter of 2025, the CCS Editorial Fund announced the addition of new publications. This initiative puts the resource at the service of the National Olympic Committees, who will be able to send investigative and journalistic works on sport in their respective countries, thus enriching the regional archive.
How to access the reading room?
Those interested can visit the official Centro Caribe Sports website to explore the publications and obtain more information about the content submission process.
