THE CENTRO CARIBE SPORTS CHANNEL STREAMING WRESTLING QUALIFIER TO SAN SALVADOR 2023

SANTO DOMINGO – After the birth in Santa Marta, Centro Caribe Sports Channel will continue with the coverage of important events in the area and will now broadcast the Olympic Wrestling Qualifier for the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games, San Salvador 2023, which starts this weekend.

The event will grant eight places for next year’s regional competition, and will feature the participation of 14 countries and more than 200 athletes, scheduled from Friday, December 2 to Sunday, December 4, at the Parque del Este Handball Pavilion.

Wrestlers from Barbados, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic will be seeking places for the regional sporting event in 2023.

The competition to be held in the Eastern zone of the Dominican capital will begin this Friday with preliminary Greco-style bouts in the categories of 60 kg, 67 kilograms, 77 kilograms, 87 kg, 97 kilograms and 130 kilograms.

On Saturday, the women’s freestyle competitions will be held in the 50 kg, 53 kg, 57 kg, 62 kg, 68 kg and 76 kg categories.

While for Sunday, the qualifier will end with the men’s freestyle tickets in the 57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, 97 kg and 125 kg divisions.Centro Caribe Sports Channel is on the YouTube platform available to the whole world, and was born with the celebration of the First Central American and Caribbean Sea and Beach Games held in Santa Marta, Colombia, from November 19 to 26 of this year.
