HUELLAS FROM CENTRAL AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN PRESENT AT PARIS 2024

Throughout different regions of Central America and the Caribbean, under the Caribbean blue of the ocean that unites us, the sports organization of the region, began with the HUELLAS campaign, a 180-day campaign to accompany the Olympic dreams of the athletes and their National Olympic Committees (NOCs) that make up the organization.

This program, every day assumes roles with different journalists in the area, reaching all digital platforms, from reports, videos, testimonials, galleries to postcards reaching the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

It also has a historical part of those athletes who have left their footprints throughout the Olympic events, as well as in the continent and regional multisport events.

For Luis Mejía, president of the organization, this project gathers the identity and ideals of the athletes of Central America and the Caribbean, as well as the challenges they had to overcome to achieve sporting glory to make their culture proud.

“With HUELLAS, Centro Caribe Sports will be the first regional sports organization to have a real presence in the Olympic Games,” said the IOC Member.

WE ARE THE CENTER OF YOUR DREAMS

Among the objectives of HUELLAS, the reports promote 90 different athletes, as well as 90 stories of Olympic dreams, 54 testimonial videos on Centro Caribe Sports’ digital platforms, 60 reels through social networks and six broadcasts of the Central America and the Caribbean News.

In addition, the review book of the Centro Caribe Sports editorial fund, and the HUELLAS song, entitled Music of Hope, Huellas en París 2024, composed by young Colombians and Venezuelans, which was created for the coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

INTERACTION

The HUELLAS campaign throughout the continent has reached an interaction of 32 million impressions on digital platforms, resulting in 35 thousand followers in the official instagram account of Centro Caribe Sports before the arrival in the French city, 540 thousand reach on average, while in the account of the Huellas a París campaign, 21 thousand followers.
