With the determination of a champion and the heart of a warrior, Mariana Pajón seeks to add another golden page to her already legendary sporting career at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

With two Olympic gold medals in her résumé, achieved in London 2012 and Rio 2016, in addition to a silver medal in Tokyo 2020, Pajón is a true living legend of Colombian and world sports.

At 32 years old, she has once again demonstrated her ability to overcome challenges and remain at the elite level of BMX. Despite injuries, her spirit, effort, and innate talent have led her to qualify for her fourth Olympic Games.

In statements to the media, Pajón has expressed her enthusiasm and commitment to Paris 2024: “Every time I get on the bike, I do it with my heart and with the dream of raising the name of Colombia high. These Olympic Games are a new opportunity to show that limits only exist in the mind.”

Pajón is the first woman from her country (Colombia) to have won two Olympic gold medals, and she will give her best at the BMX Stadium in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines on August 1st and 2nd.
