SAN SALVADOR.- Alexa Moreno has demonstrated her status as an Olympic athlete to lead Mexico’s gymnastics team at the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games.

Moreno, who was out of action for several months due to shoulder and ankle surgery, has returned to competition with impeccable movements and top-level technique on the apparatus.

Her performance in San Salvador 2023 has not been a surprise since she is the owner of artistic gymnastics in the Central American and Caribbean region.

The 29-year-old gymnast won five medals in her performance in San Salvador 2023.

Gold in the floor, vault and team events. She also won silver in the all-around and bronze in the balance beam.

“To get this far has been pure work. This has been pure effort, dedication and persistence,” said Moreno.
