NATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEES SATISFIED WITH TRAINING PROGRAM

Sep 27, 2024

SANTO DOMINGO.- The National Olympic Committees (NOCs) showed great interest in the “I Training Program for Sports Journalists and Reporters” of the Centro Caribe Sports’ HUELLAS project, which took place from September 22, in a hotel in the Eastern part of the Dominican capital.

22 delegations of the 37 members of the regional sports organization were present on Dominican soil, while the remaining 15 countries were present via the virtual platform ZOOM.

Each NOC nominated a member of its Communications team to acquire the knowledge offered in this seminar, with speakers who provided a topic focused on Technology, Information and Communication, adapted to the Olympic Movement.

“For us it was a week of a lot of two-way learning, because our speakers added to the NOCs with their experiences. For example, the topic of photography, was one of the most interesting for them, and each exhibition showed a particular interest among the applicants,” revealed President Luis Mejia at the end of this event.
