Five medalists of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 in athletics will compete in the eighth date of the Diamond League of this season, to be held this Sunday, July 16, in Silesia, Poland.
The Kamila Skolimowska Memorial Meeting, as the event is known, will feature Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela and Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic, champions of the Triple Jump and the 400 meters, respectively, of the San Salvador 2023 Games and will use this event as part of their preparation for the World Championships in Budapest next August.

In addition, the silver and bronze medalists of the Triple Jump at the San Salvador 2023 Games, Leyanis Perez and Liadagmis Povea from Cuba, as well as Thea LaFond from Dominica, have been confirmed to compete.
Cuban Luis Enrique Zayas, runner-up at the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 in high jump, will also take part in this Diamond League in Silesia.
The Silesian Diamond League is held at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów and has a capacity of 55,211 people.
