SANTO DOMINGO 2026 ORGANIZING COMMITTEE AND BORNAN SIGN AGREEMENT

SANTO DOMINGO.- The company’s CEO, Roberto García, and its Director for the Americas, Ariel Valdez Chávez, visited the Dominican Republic to meet with the president of the Organizing Committee, journalist José P. Monegro, to verify the start of the work.

BORNAN Sports Technology, the internationally recognized technology company, is in charge of everything related to digital sports technology for the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 to be held in El Salvador and in addition has agreed with the Dominican Organizing Committee to provide the same services for the 7 disciplines that will be staged in the country.

The sports covered by the Dominican Republic’s sub-venue are Taekwondo, Equestrian, Canoeing, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Field Hockey, Racquetball and Modern Pentathlon.

BORNAN will be in charge of the administration of the competitions, installing the systems of results, timing, accreditation, technology for logistics and data for the transmission of results and statistics to the public through electronic and digital media.

During their visit to the Dominican Republic, they shared with José P. Monegro the country’s objectives in relation to the games, the technological needs and defined the scope of their services.

Previously, a technical team from BORNAN was in the Dominican Republic to supervise the facilities where the competitions scheduled for the end of June will be held and to determine the technological needs to be met for these services.

Roberto García expressed his pleasure to work with the Dominican Republic and to take advantage of this sub-venue to consolidate BORNAN’s relations with the country, trusting that this is the beginning of joint work that will benefit the commitments assumed by the Dominican government with the Central American and Caribbean Games.

Meanwhile, José P. Monegro said he felt confident with the experience of the renowned international company and the contributions it could make for the successful staging of the sports disciplines that will compete in Santo Domingo.

BORNAN Sports Technology is the company that has been in charge of digital sports technology in important international events, including the past Central American and Caribbean Games and the Pan American Games to be held this year in Santiago de Chile.
