Sara Rosario Highlights Infrastructure Progress for Santo Domingo 2026

The Secretary General of Centro Caribe Sports, Sara Rosario, spoke positively about the progress of the infrastructure that will be used for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.

“We are very pleased with what we have observed here. Very surprised by the progress made at the Central American Village,” Sara Rosario commented.

She also highlighted that the residential complex will have 1,200 apartments and that all the buildings are expected to be completed by June.

Additionally, she praised the work carried out by the Organizing Committee.

“We are very pleased, very surprised by the progress the Organizing Committee has made in these months,” added the Secretary.

“The Olympic Stadium is an iconic venue”

She also commented on the significant progress made at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in recent years.

“It looks very suitable for hosting athletics, which should be one of the main sports we’ll have at the Games,” she remarked.

Furthermore, she mentioned that the next stage for the sports facility is the construction of the Olympic track.

The Secretary General of Centro Caribe Sports concluded by sending a message of gratitude to all the individuals who have contributed to the construction and renovation of the venues that will be used for the event.
