SHOTGUN STARTS ON SATURDAY AT THE SUB-VENUE

SANTO DOMINGO.- The skeet shooting championship of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games, San Salvador 2023 begins this Saturday here, with the participation of about fifty shooters from several countries of the area.

The day will take place at the El Higüero shooting range, and will begin in the skeet modality, with 75 targets for men and women, starting at 9:30 a.m. Dominican time.

The skeet 50 skeet events for both sexes are also scheduled.

The women’s skeet final is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and the second final will be held at 2:00 p.m.

Shortly after noon on Friday, the technical congress took place, where everything related to the development of the championship, which will be under the technical direction of the international judge, the Puerto Rican Luis Valladares, was discussed.

For this championship is scheduled the participation of about a hundred shooters from Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Colombia, Costa Rica and a representation of Centro Caribe Sports.

In addition to the participation in skeet, there will also be competition in men’s and women’s skeet, as well as in mixed skeet.
