As part of the presentation of the new challenges of Centro Caribe Sports. Luis Mejía Oviedo, president of the organization, made notable announcements at the III Conference of the Centennial Summit that is being held in Panama City with the group of members and invited countries.

Among the lines of work to be strengthened is the organization’s articulated and service work to the CONS. “We want our organization to be the one that values the most and accompanies each Olympic committee,” said Mejía, referring to the new communication structure facing the challenges of 2025.
An editorial fund for the reconstruction of the historical memory of sport in Central America and the Caribbean, a Digital Newscast and the use of ICT training are one of the relevant points.
Centennial Logo
Before finishing his speech, Mejía made the public presentation of the logo that will accompany the organization on the Centennial celebration route.
“The waves, the Olympic colors and our cultures are part of a logo that unites us with the number 100, the Olympic rings and the waves of our sea.”
The IOC member also thanked Panama for its hospitality, and highlighted the successful start of the 100 years of the organization, as a challenge that invites us to continue working day by day for the Olympic movement.
