COLOMBIA AND DOMINICAN REPUBLIC KNOW THEIR RIVALS IN FOOTBALL IN PARIS 2024

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), held the draw for the men’s and women’s group stage in a ceremony held in Saint-Denis, the venue for Paris 2024.

The men’s tournament has four groups of four teams, where the Dominican team represents the countries of Central America and the Caribbean, or members of Centro Caribe Sports.

Meanwhile, the women’s championship has three four-team brackets, with the Colombian team representing the region.

Both tournaments will be played in seven stadiums during the summer, with the men’s tournament scheduled to be played from July 24, two days before the Opening Ceremony, until Friday, August 9, while the women’s tournament will be played from July 25 to Saturday, August 10.

Men’s and women’s schedule

The group phase is scheduled to be played on July 24, 27 and 30, the quarterfinals on August 2 and the semifinals on August 5, while the bronze medal match will be played on August 8 and the final match on August 9.

The women’s team has scheduled its first match on July 25, and will complete the group phase on the 28th and 31st of the same month. The quarterfinals are scheduled for August 3, the semifinals for August 6, while the bronze medal match will be played on August 9 and the final match on August 10.
